Glass Matting and Engraving

CW TRADE LTD has been successfully supplying a wide variety of matted and engraved glass produced to the customer's design requirements for over 10 years.

Matting

Matting achieves a different transparency of the material giving a milky white color to the glass or, in the case of coloured glass, a shade of the base color. It may be followed by a affixing to prevent fingerprint marks.

Engraving

Nowadays the combination of advanced computer technology and centuries-old tradition of engraving glass allows us to achieve outstanding results. Now, as before, engraving is done by mechanically removing a thin layer of the material, thus achieving unique effect of parallel tracks as if they are hand-engraved. We achieve this effect working with our state-of-the-art technology (CNC machines), providing a product that cannot be compared to anything else.
